    The 2nd printing (Stated) bound in cream colored cloth boards with black drawing of Eloise on the front board and red lettering. 4to (11.25 X 8.00 ") size, 65pp., pictorial endpapers, color illustrations by Hillary Knight through-out. The book is in VG condition, both of the spine tips are bumped and have small (1cm or less) tears. The cloth on the front board has a slight, puckered diagonal line (binding flaw?). There is also a 1cm deep soil line across the bottom edge of the front board (only) that is discolored from dust soiling. Internally the book is in Fine condition with clean, tight pages and no marks. Good cond. Dj is not price clipped but has several shallow chips and tears to the panel edges and at both spine tips. Overall a clean, solid copy of the first book in the series.
